Farquhar Laing founded Black Isle Bronze in a garage. That same year, we won a major commission for the Rugby Football Union.
1996
The business moved to a larger premises in Nairnshire.
2003
We built the UK’s first purpose-built foundry in Nairn, adopting this as our new home.
2005
We won a breakthrough commission for a client in Tokyo, opening up our services to global clients.
2015
We became the first solar powered bronze foundry in the UK.
